Steinel HF 180 COM1 presence detector white

Name: Steinel HF 180 COM1 presence detector white
Brand: STEINEL

The white Steinel HF 180 COM1, finished in RAL 9010, is a wall-mounted presence detector for switching lighting on and off. Its square frame and simply divided front give it a minimalist appearance, while the housing is made of plastic. Article 032883 uses the COM1 interface; it is not the KNX version.Detection beyond a lightweight partitionThe 5.8 GHz high-frequency sensor detects movement independently of temperature. It covers a 180° angle, with electronically adjustable reach up to 8 m. Detection can also extend through glass, wood and lightweight partition walls. When choosing its position, consider adjoining areas behind these materials as well as the space directly in front of the sensor. The manufacturer lists single-person offices, corridors, stairwells, kitchenettes and ancillary rooms among its applications. This is an indoor device, not an outdoor detector for a garden or building exterior.Choose how the lighting respondsThe ambient brightness threshold can be set from 2 to 1000 lx, and the stay-on time from 30 seconds to 30 minutes. TEACH allows the current brightness level to be adopted as a reference. Semi-automatic and fully automatic modes are available, alongside manual on/off operation. COM1 switches the connected lighting rather than dimming it, and the detector does not provide constant-light control.Check the installation and lamp loadThe unit measures 80 × 80 mm with a depth of 30 mm. It requires concealed installation on a wall and a 220–240 V, 50–60 Hz supply. The permitted mounting height is 1.2–2.2 m, with 1.2 m recommended. Compare these requirements with the planned installation before ordering. The 2000 W rating applies to resistive loads, not to every LED installation. LED limits depend on the wattage of each lamp: 100 W for lamps below 2 W, 300 W between 2 and 8 W, and 600 W above 8 W. A remote control is not supplied; the package contains one presence detector.Mostrar mais
