SILAO Luces Exclusivas Pendant Lamp LE42797
SILAO is a pendant light shaped as an oval ring measuring 120 × 35 cm. The profile is only 2.5 cm tall, the body is aluminium in matt black, and the light leaves through an acrylic diffuser running along the inner edge of the oval. How big it is and how it hangs The oval measures 120 cm on the long axis and 35 cm on the short one — a figure to compare with the length of your own tabletop, because a fitting this long works over a table or an island rather than in the middle of an empty ceiling. The lower edge usually sits 70–80 cm above the top, where the light covers the whole surface without shining into the eyes of the people seated. The manufacturer gives a suspension height of up to 200 cm. The fitting hangs on three thin steel cables, with a black cylindrical module hanging beside it on a cable of its own — leave room for it when planning the ceiling outlet. What kind of light it gives The light source is built in for good: a 58 W LED module putting out 3248 lm at 3000 K, warm white. 3248 lm is roughly four times the old 60-watt bulb — enough for SILAO to be the main light in a room rather than an accent over the table. There is no bulb to change; when the module is spent the whole fitting is replaced. The diffuser runs the length of the oval, so the light leaves as a line rather than a point and no single hard shadow forms below the fitting. IP20 and 230 V mean it is for indoor use only. Finish and where it fits The body is aluminium and the diffuser acrylic, the whole in matt black with no visible joins and no ornament. The form is a single closed oval of constant thickness — nothing projects beyond the outline except the cables. The catalogue places it above the table, over a kitchen island, in the dining room and in the living room.Mostrar mais
