GFA361 is a recessed spotlight shaped as an aluminium cylinder, finished in satin white with a clear diffuser. It throws a narrow 24° beam straight down — a fitting for placing pools of light, not for flooding a room evenly. Cut-out and installation depth The manufacturer's drawing gives 64 mm across the part that passes through the ceiling, which is the size the opening has to be, plus 70 mm for the body and 35 mm of clearance above the mounting plane. Hold those three figures against the build-up of your own ceiling before drilling — the opening cannot be undone. Two sprung clips hold the fitting, splaying out above the board, so no separate screws are needed. The piece weighs 0,34 kg net. How much light it gives and of what kind The module draws 9 W and delivers 550 lm. An old 60 W incandescent bulb gave about 800 lm but scattered them in every direction — here it all goes into a 24° cone, so the pool under the fitting is brighter than the lumen figure alone suggests. For general lighting, count on several units in a row. 3000 K is warm white. A colour rendering index above Ra 90 means colours look close to how they do in daylight, which matters over a mirror, over a worktop, and anywhere a fabric or skin tone is being judged. Source, supply and protection The diode is built in and cannot be replaced; the manufacturer states 50,000 hours, after which the whole fitting is changed. The driver is included, and the module runs at insulation class III, that is on safety extra-low voltage — the installation itself is fed the usual 220–240 V. The fitting cannot be dimmed: control is on/off. An IP54 rating means protection against dust and against splashing water from any direction, so the fitting can sit in a bathroom ceiling outside the zone of a direct jet.Mostrar mais
