FREYA 90 is a wall lamp shaped as a slim bar of white-painted steel: 90 cm long with a 6 × 8 cm cross-section. The body is closed and opaque — light leaves through one open end only and falls as a band on the wall below the fitting. How it lights and what you buy separately Inside sits a single GU10 socket rated at a maximum of 10 W, and the manufacturer supplies no bulb. The bulb you choose sets the colour and brightness of the light and the shape of the patch on the wall: the narrower the beam angle of the GU10 you fit, the sharper the cone; the wider it is, the softer. The body itself does not glow along its length. The fitting draws a vertical line on the wall and lights the area beneath it, so it works as decorative and directional light rather than as general room lighting. How much wall it takes The fitting occupies 90 cm of wall height, and its 6 × 8 cm cross-section is the figure to compare with the width of a hallway passage or with the gap left between the wall and a piece of furniture. FREYA is made in four lengths — 60, 90, 120 and 150 cm — and in five colours, so several pieces can be arranged into one composition on a wall. Mounting and power The lamp goes onto a steel bracket screwed to the wall, and the wires are joined in a terminal block inside the housing — there is no plug, so the fitting needs a 230 V supply brought out in the wall. The manufacturer states protection class I, which means that supply must also carry a protective earth conductor (PE).
