BORGEN is a wall light shaped as a flat round disc 30 cm across, made of steel and finished in matt beige. The light source sits behind the disc, so the fitting does not shine forward — the glow appears on the wall all around it. The disc stands 3.5 cm off the wall and carries no visible bracket or cable. How large the fitting is and how much room it takes Thirty centimetres across is more than a typical wall light, so a single piece fills a stretch of wall on its own. The module is permanently built in. The fitting lights up as soon as it is wired, with no bulb to buy, but the source cannot be replaced — once spent, the whole fitting goes.
