Lillehammer DC2295CB is an outdoor wall light shaped as a rectangular box of cast aluminium, powder-coated in copper brown RAL 8004. A rectangular safety-glass lens is set into the top face, and all the light leaves through it — upwards. What light it gives The manufacturer states a single-sided 4° beam facing up and a ULOR of 100%, so the entire output goes above the fitting. This is not area lighting but a narrow band of light laid on the wall above the luminaire. The LED module makes 512 lm, but 15 lm leaves through the optic — hence the 4.2 lm/W luminaire efficiency, which with this optic is the card's own figure rather than an error. What makes the band visible is the 377 cd intensity. 2700 K is warm, slightly yellow light, and Ra 80 is enough for a facade. What it needs in order to work The fitting runs on 24 V DC in protection class III and requires an external voltage-stabilised power supply — there is none in the housing and none in the box, so one has to be bought and given a place. It must not be wired straight to the 230 V mains. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and 2 × 1.5 mm² for looping through, which lets several fittings run off one cable. The gland accepts a round cable 7 to 10.5 mm across. Mounting and build The box is 18.5 cm high, 11 cm wide and projects 8 cm from the wall; it fixes on two ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm. It weighs 1.57 kg. Besides the aluminium casting the build includes a silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland; IP65 and IK08 mean it is meant for outdoor mounting with no further cover. The LED module is replaceable by a professional, and the manufacturer publishes the service-kit numbers. Where it works The manufacturer intends this fitting for lighting wall surfaces, facades and architectural detail. The photometry is computed for mounting at 2.5 m — the reference point for spacing a run of them along a wall. The LED module is dimming-compatible, but the control is done on the supply side, according to the installation design.
