Norlys Vasa 455BL outdoor wall light, black RAL 9005, LED 6 W 4000 K, uplight

Name: Norlys Vasa 455BL outdoor wall light, black RAL 9005, LED 6 W 4000 K, uplight
Brand: NORLYS

The Vasa 455BL is an outdoor wall light shaped as a half cylinder, cast in aluminium and powder-coated black (RAL 9005). Its top is closed by a clear, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate cover, and the light shines through it upwards only. The smooth body without ornament and the single colour suit a modern, minimalist facade.Size and wall mountingThe light is 31 cm wide and 12.5 cm high and projects 15.5 cm from the wall; it weighs 2.27 kg. It is fixed either through an intermediate plate with two 5 × 10 mm slotted holes at 45 mm centres, or directly through two ø5 mm holes at 68 mm centres. The slots in the plate leave a few millimetres of play for levelling the fitting. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², or up to 3 × 1.5 mm² when looping through to the next fitting, with a round cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter. Several lights on one wall can therefore run from a single circuit — the manufacturer states up to 46 on a B10A breaker and up to 75 on a B16A. It is a class I luminaire, so the protective earth conductor must be connected. What light it givesThe light draws 6 W and delivers 457 lm at 4000 K, a neutral white, with CRI 80. The output is diffused over a half sphere and directed upwards: it brightens the strip of facade above the fitting and the eaves rather than the path below. The same body with the light directed down is the Vasa 451.Brightness can be adjusted with an ordinary phase dimmer — the manufacturer allows both trailing-edge (TE) and leading-edge (LE) dimmers.Durability and servicingIP65 sealing and IK08 impact resistance allow mounting on an exposed wall without a canopy. The integrated LED module is rated above 102,000 h to L80 and the driver for 50,000 h. Neither the module nor the driver is replaced by the user: a professional service does it, and the manufacturer has a dedicated service kit for this light.Mostrar mais
