SONGMICS Bamboo Shelving Unit 5 Tiers 33x33x146 cm BCB55Y

Name: SONGMICS Bamboo Shelving Unit 5 Tiers 33x33x146 cm BCB55Y
Brand: Vasagle & Songmics

The SONGMICS BCB55Y is a narrow five-tier shelving unit made of bamboo in its natural shade. All four sides are open and each shelf is built from slats laid with gaps between them. How much space it takes and where it fits The unit has a 33 x 33 cm footprint and stands 146 cm tall. It occupies about a third of a square metre of floor and gets its capacity from height rather than width — a measurement to compare against the free strip of wall you have left between the bath and the basin, or beside the sofa. The manufacturer intends it for the bathroom, the kitchen, the living room and the hallway. At 146 cm the top shelf sits roughly at an adult's eye level and the bottom one stands just above the floor. Bamboo and slatted shelves The whole frame is bamboo, with no veneer and no board material. The shelves are not solid — they are slats with gaps between them, so water running off a wet towel or a plant pot does not stand on the surface but passes through. The open sides mean the opposite for whatever you put on them: everything on a shelf is visible from every direction, so this is a unit for things meant to stay within reach rather than out of sight. What is in the box and what to do before use The unit is delivered for self-assembly. The box holds the shelving frame, an Allen key and a manual in German, English, French, Spanish and Italian. A single type of screw puts the whole thing together, so there are no different fasteners to tell apart. An anti-tip device is included as well, and the manufacturer recommends using it to fix the unit to the wall. The tall, narrow build — 146 cm on a 33 x 33 cm base — is the reason that recommendation exists at all.Mostrar mais
