Sabina Chandelier - 5 Light Sources - Black Elstead

Name: Sabina Chandelier - 5 Light Sources - Black Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

The Sabina chandelier by Hinkley has five candle-style arms ending in cylindrical off-white polycotton shades. The arms rise from a black steel ring of interlocking, rounded squares, and the whole fitting hangs from a chain. It is distributed by Elstead Lighting; the manufacturer gives the United Kingdom as the country of manufacture. Size and suspension The chandelier is 71.7 cm across with a 39.5 cm tall body — the scale for a living room or over a dining table for six to eight. It hangs from a 200 cm chain, and the overall height of 61 to 251 cm is set during installation by shortening the chain. With a 250 cm ceiling and a 75 cm table, the lower edge of the arms should sit 70–80 cm above the top, giving an overall height of about 95–105 cm. The ceiling plate is 14 cm across. At 8.24 kg the chandelier needs a hook fixed into a load-bearing ceiling; it is Class I with an earth conductor. Bulbs and light Each of the five arms has an E14 socket for a bulb of up to 40 W; no bulbs are supplied. Five LED bulbs of about 470 lm give over 2000 lm together, a suitable amount for an average living room. The fabric shades hide the sources and diffuse the light, so the bulbs do not dazzle people at the table. With dimmable bulbs and a dimmer it can be turned down. Which rooms it suits The manufacturer lists the living room, bedroom and dining room. Candle-style arms combined with a graphic black ornament make a modernist take on the classic chandelier; the Sabina series also has a wall light, flush light and pendants with the same pattern.Mostrar mais
