Rendl PRAHA DIMM table lamp black 230 V LED 5 W 100° 3000 K

Name: Rendl PRAHA DIMM table lamp black 230 V LED 5 W 100° 3000 K
Brand: Rendl light studio

PRAHA DIMM is a black table lamp with a built-in LED. The cylindrical shade, 18.5 cm across, sits on a pivot at the top of a slim stem rising from a flat round base, and is closed underneath by a white diffusing disc. The lamp stands 38 cm tall. How much light it gives and how it is adjusted The 5 W LED module produces 550 lumens at 3000 K, a warm white with a slightly yellow cast. That is less than an old 60 W bulb, which corresponds to roughly 800 lm, so this is light for reading in an armchair or lifting one spot, not for lighting a whole room. Brightness is changed by touch: the lamp has a touch dimmer with three brightness steps, so it needs neither a wall dimmer nor a dimmable bulb. The beam opens at 100°, and the white disc under the shade spreads it across the surface below instead of casting a sharply outlined circle. The light source is permanently built in The LED is fitted at the factory and there is no lampholder inside the shade to screw a bulb into — the source is not user-replaceable. The maker quotes 25,000 operating hours, which at three hours a day is more than twenty years. The driver is built in as well, so the lamp simply plugs into a 230 V socket. Dimensions, cable and shade tilt Shade and base stay within a circle 18.5 cm across and the height is 38 cm — figures to compare with the depth of the bedside table or sideboard the lamp is to stand on. The supply cable is 180 cm long and that is what sets the workable distance from the socket. The shade tilts through 45°, by hand and without tools, so the light can be aimed at a book, at a worktop or towards the wall. What interior it suits The form is modern and minimalist: a plain cylinder, a slim stem and a flat base, with no ornament, in uniform black. The maker intends the lamp for living rooms, bedrooms and children's rooms — places where being able to turn the light down in the evening matters.Mostrar mais
