Brand: Aldex

Aldex Pinne Long Brass is a single-light ceiling fixture with a long, straight metal stem and a spherical glass shade. Brushed brass is paired with matt, milky-white glass, giving the narrow vertical line a rounded ending. Article 1080PL_G40_L identifies the long version of this family, not a set of lights in different lengths.A narrow footprint, but a substantial dropThe complete fixture measures 92 cm in height and 14 cm in both width and depth. The small shade diameter should therefore not be mistaken for a fitting that stays close to the ceiling. Before installation, compare the room height with the fixture length and check where the bottom of the glass will sit above a table, worktop or circulation route. The ceiling canopy is 10 cm in diameter. The metal stem is part of the fixture's form, rather than a loose cable that can simply be shortened during installation. Plan the Long version around its stated overall height instead of assuming that the drop is adjustable.Choose the bulb by size as well as capThe fitting takes one E14 bulb. The manufacturer specifies a maximum LED bulb wattage of 10 W and recommends a narrow bulb no taller than 10.2 cm. A matching cap is therefore only part of the choice: the bulb's shape and dimensions must also suit the space inside the glass globe. The opal glass diffuses the light, while its colour and brightness depend on the selected bulb. When arranging several fixtures together, matching bulb specifications help avoid unintended differences between the individual light points. One accent light or a repeated arrangementThe manufacturer describes a single fixture as supplementary lighting, including above a desk, and groups of fixtures for a kitchen or living room. Above a dining table, checking the installation height is just as important as it is over a worktop. In a hallway, the clearance below the globe is the deciding measurement. The straight stem, round glass and brass finish suit minimalist and contemporary interiors through their restrained combination of shapes, rather than the spread and ornament of a multi-arm chandelier.Mostrar mais
