Aldex Riu 7 pendant light, black and brushed brass, 7 × G9, 1121T40

Name: Aldex Riu 7 pendant light, black and brushed brass, 7 × G9, 1121T40
Brand: Aldex

The Aldex Riu 7 Black Brass 1121T40 is a linear pendant light with seven frosted glass globes on individual cords. Its black ceiling bar and cords contrast with elongated brushed-brass elements above each globe. The pale spheres finish a staggered row of pendants rather than branching out from a central chandelier body.A metre-wide bar with individually shortened cordsThe manufacturer specifies a width of 100 cm, depth of 9 cm and overall height of 200 cm. Each of the seven shades measures 9 cm in diameter; that measurement does not describe the whole fixture. The technical drawing separates a 175 cm cord section from the 25 cm fixed element that includes the globe. Compare the bar width with your table length and the overall drop with the ceiling height before deciding where to mount it.Aldex explicitly allows the cords to be shortened independently. You can therefore change the stepped arrangement of the shades without making every pendant end at the same level. Above a dining table, check the clearance between the lowest globe and the tabletop. In a lobby, the relevant check is the space available for people walking beneath the fixture.Seven G9 light sourcesRiu 7 has seven G9 lamp holders. This designation matters when choosing bulbs: E14 and E27 screw-base lamps do not fit these holders. The installation guide shows a light source being inserted into each holder before the glass shade is fitted. The consulted documents do not fix the light colour or luminous output, so a product photograph cannot tell you how bright the completed installation will be.Repeated globes in a contemporary interiorThe narrow bar and row of drops suit a position over a table, including a dining area connected to a kitchen. The manufacturer also identifies living rooms, lobbies and public interiors. Straight cords and repeated spherical shapes connect the fixture to modern and modernist furnishings, while brushed brass provides a different surface texture from the black structure. Check model code 1121T40 when selecting this finish: the Riu collection also includes all-black versions and designs with a circular ceiling arrangement.Mostrar mais
