Aldex LOOP Beige Pendant Light, 25 cm Opal Globe, 40 cm Disc 1125G17_L

Name: Aldex LOOP Beige Pendant Light, 25 cm Opal Globe, 40 cm Disc 1125G17_L
Brand: Aldex

Aldex LOOP BEIGE L 1125G17_L is a pendant light with a spherical shade of white opal glass and a flat metal disc in beige (RAL 1019) set just above it. The braided cable matches the beige of the disc, and the glass shade is made in Poland. This is the largest, L size of the lamp in the LOOP series. How big it is and where to hang itThe disc is 40 cm in diameter and the globe 25 cm. The rigid part — from the disc to the bottom of the globe — measures 27 cm, and the round ceiling canopy is 10 cm across. The overall height including the cable is 200 cm and can be shortened, but the manufacturer expects an electrician to do this during installation.Over a dining table the bottom of the globe is usually lowered to 70–80 cm above the top, so measure the room height at installation and set the final cable length straight away. A 40 cm disc sits well over a medium-sized table. What light it givesThe lamp has one E27 socket, and the manufacturer allows an LED bulb of up to 15 W. The globe is closed and opal, so the bulb is not visible and the shade glows evenly across its surface. The colour and brightness of the light depend on the bulb you choose — 2700–3000 K, a warm light, is the usual choice for dining rooms and bedrooms. The disc covers the globe from above, so most of the light goes down and to the sides while the ceiling stays darker. The fitting is rated IP20 and is intended for indoor use.Which interior it suitsThe design is modern and minimalist: a smooth globe, a thin disc and a cable in the same colour, with no ornament. The manufacturer intends it over a kitchen or dining table and as the main light in a living room or bedroom; it also works in hotels and restaurants. The LOOP series also includes smaller S and M sizes and a wall light, so several lamps can be matched in one colour.Mostrar mais
