Name: Paris Big 1497WH outdoor wall light, white RAL 9003, LED 5.9 W 2700 K, downlight, TE dimmable – NORLYS
Brand: NORLYS

Paris Big 1497WH is a Norlys outdoor wall light shaped as a half-dome – the larger version of the Paris wall light. The body is hot-dip galvanised steel powder-coated white (RAL 9003), and a satin, UV-stabilised polycarbonate diffuser closes it underneath. Light leaves only downwards. The LED module and driver are built in, so no bulb needs to be bought. Dimensions and wall mounting According to the manufacturer's drawing the light is 28 cm wide and 14 cm high, projects 16 cm from the wall and weighs 1.05 kg. Compare these figures with the free space above a door, beside a garage door or on a fence pillar. The body is fixed through two oval ø5.5 mm holes 100 mm apart. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², the gland seals round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter, and further fittings can be looped through with cable up to 3 × 1.5 mm². The card also states how many of these lights fit on one circuit breaker: 46 on B10, 75 on B16, 74 on C10 and 120 on C16 – the figures to plan a circuit along a longer facade. The fitting is protection class I, so a protective earth conductor is required. What light it gives The LED module produces 770 lm, and after the diffuser the fitting delivers 584 lm at 5.9 W – brightness between an old 40 W and 60 W bulb, enough at an entrance or along the wall of a building. 2700 K is warm, slightly yellowish light, and CRI 80 means standard colour rendering. ULOR is 0%: nothing shines upwards, so the light does not brighten the wall above it or the sky. The fitting is dimmable, but only with a trailing-edge (TE) phase dimmer. Norlys also makes this model in 3000 K and 4000 K, under separate article numbers. Weather resistance and servicing IP43 means protection against rain falling at up to 60° from vertical, but not against water jets, so the light is meant for a facade rather than a spot that gets hosed down. The manufacturer rates the module at L80 above 102,000 h and L90 above 52,600 h, and the driver at 50,000 h. The module and driver are replaced by a professional service; Norlys offers service kits ZS4699101114 (LED), ZS4699100540 (driver) and ZS1496zx0014, so one worn part does not mean replacing the whole light.Mostrar mais
