Lysfjord 6406AL is a cylindrical outdoor wall light, 15 cm in diameter and 33.5 cm tall, finished in aluminium RAL 9006. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium, and the light leaves through a safety-glass lens in one direction only — downwards, in a very narrow beam. How big it is and how it is mounted Together with its mounting base the light projects 20 cm from the wall — the figure to compare with the free space next to a door frame, downpipe or window sill. It is fixed through two ø5 mm holes spaced 73 × 154 mm apart. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm², and the lights can be looped through with up to 5 × 1.5 mm², so each one can feed the next. The supply cable must have a round sheath of 7–10.5 mm diameter — only that passes through the gasket and keeps it sealed. The light is protection class I, so it needs an earth connection, and the manufacturer specifies installation by a licensed electrician. How much light, and what kind The source is an integrated 11.8 W LED module delivering 2072 lm; the whole luminaire draws 14.6 W. 3000 K is warm white, and CRI 80 renders plaster, timber and planting correctly, though less faithfully than Ra 90 sources. The LED module and driver are built in and can only be replaced by a service technician — there is no bulb to fit or buy. Light goes downwards only, at a 4° beam angle, so the fitting draws a narrow, crisp stripe on the wall instead of washing the whole facade. The manufacturer states ULOR 0 % and BUG rating B0-U0-G0: no light is sent upwards into the sky, and glare is in the lowest class. DALI2 control The driver supports DALI2 and NightDim (4DIM). Dimming requires a DALI control system — an ordinary wall dimmer is not intended here. From the factory the driver is set to the maximum permitted current, so without control the light runs at full output; other parameters are programmed after contacting the Norlys sales department. Build and outdoor use IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction, so the light can hang on an exposed wall with no canopy. IK08 is resistance to an impact energy of 5 J. It operates from −20 to +45 °C, the glass is sealed with silicone and the cable enters through an EPDM gland. A plain cylinder without ornament is a modern, minimalist form that does not compete with the building.
