s.luce Ball arc floor lamp 220 cm E27 copper shade, black marble base

Name: s.luce Ball arc floor lamp 220 cm E27 copper shade, black marble base
Brand: s.luce

Ball is an arc floor lamp: a black stem curves over into a bow and ends in a copper sphere 30 cm across, open underneath. The foot is a cylinder of black marble roughly 21 cm across. The overall height is 220 cm. How much room it needs and where to stand it At 220 cm the lamp reaches high — in a room of ordinary height about 30 cm is left above it, so measure your own ceiling before the lamp goes into a corner. The bow carries the shade sideways over the floor, so the foot stands beside a piece of furniture while the light falls over it. The lamp weighs 33.7 kg, and 35 kg in its packaging. That is the weight of the marble foot, which holds the overhanging bow upright — and also the reason the lamp is not moved one-handed or set on a thin rug without checking what is underneath. The stem screws together at a visible joint, so it arrives in sections. The shade turns and can be swapped The copper half-sphere is mounted so it rotates, which aims the light without moving the whole lamp — over a book, onto an armchair or towards a wall. The inside of the shade is pale and the bottom is open, so the light goes mainly downwards onto the surface beneath the sphere. The shade is interchangeable: the manufacturer offers it in copper, gold, black and white, so the accent colour can change without buying a new lamp. This version comes with the copper shade and the black base. Lamp, dimming and the switch There is one E27 lampholder and it takes a source of up to 40 W. No lamp is supplied, so the colour and brightness are your choice. The light can be dimmed, but that takes a lamp described as dimmable and a dimmer — the luminaire itself holds no control gear. The switch is a foot switch on the cable, so the lamp is turned off with a foot rather than by bending down. The supply is 230 V, protection class I requires an earthed socket, and the IP20 rating means dry interiors.Mostrar mais
