Asker 1513GB Outdoor Wall Sconce, Gray, E27, NORLYS

Name: Asker 1513GB Outdoor Wall Sconce, Gray, E27, NORLYS
Brand: NORLYS

The Asker 1513GB is a cuboid façade wall light in cast aluminium, powder-coated in the grey beige shade RAL 7006. Light leaves through transparent structured polycarbonate lenses at the top and bottom — there is no opal diffuser to soften it, so the fitting throws two defined washes onto the wall. How big it is and how it is fixed The body measures 22.5 × 11 × 8.5 cm, roughly a brick laid on its side — beside a front door it takes up no room, while on a large façade it is a fitting to count in several units rather than one. It screws on through two ø5 mm holes spaced 134 × 65 mm. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and at up to 3 × 1.5 mm² several fittings can be looped together and fed from one circuit. The gland is sized for round-sheathed cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. The luminaire is protection class I, so the installation needs a protective earth conductor. What light it gives Inside is an E27 lampholder — no bulb is supplied, and the manufacturer allows LED lamps up to 9 W. Colour temperature and brightness are therefore chosen with the bulb, bought separately, and replaced by the user when it fails. Half the flux goes upwards and half downwards (ULOR 50%), so the light draws a symmetric pair of cones on the wall rather than lighting the ground below. This is a fitting for grazing a wall surface and picking out architecture, not for lighting steps or a gate. Build and resistance Powder-coated cast aluminium, a silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland give IP65: the housing is dust-tight and withstands water jets, so it can sit on an unsheltered wall. The polycarbonate of the lenses is UV-stabilised, which slows the yellowing that sunlight causes. The IK08 impact rating corresponds to a 5 J blow — the level specified for places reachable from pavement level. The manufacturer states an operating range of −20 to +45 °C.Mostrar mais
