MORELOS Luces Exclusivas LE43691 floor lamp, gold, glass globe under a disc, G9, 165 cm
MORELOS LE43691 is a gold Luces Exclusivas floor lamp, 165 cm tall. A slim metal rod rises at a slight angle from a round base and bends at the top into a short arm ending in a vertical tube. A small white opal glass globe hangs beneath the tube, with a flat round disc in the same gold above it.Size and placement The globe hangs at the very top of the lamp, beneath the disc, so the light falls on its surroundings from above. The manufacturer gives a diameter of 42 cm — on its dimension drawing this figure refers to the base — so compare it with the free floor space next to the piece of furniture the lamp will stand by. The cable leaves at the base and the switch sits on the cable near the floor, so you switch the lamp on without reaching for the globe.Bulb and light The lamp has a single G9 lampholder, and the manufacturer allows a maximum of 5 W in it. No bulb is included. Halogen G9 capsules draw far more than that, so MORELOS takes an LED G9 capsule — and the capsule decides the light colour; for living rooms and bedrooms 2700–3000 K, warm and slightly yellowish, is the usual choice. A single source of that power gives supplementary light rather than the main light in a room. The opal glass softens it, and the disc above the globe shields it from above, so the light spreads mainly sideways and downwards. What kind of interior it suits MORELOS has a modern, geometric form: the thin lines of the rod, one globe and one disc, with no ornament. Gold metal paired with white glass sits well in a living room or bedroom — beside a sofa or armchair, or in the corner of a room where an extra point of light is needed.Mostrar mais
