BRISA MINI is a ceiling fan with an integrated LED light source, a 151 cm blade span and a 44.5 cm body depth. The three blades are MDF and the housing is steel and ABS. Each blade has two faces — one wood-toned, one black — so you decide before installation which one is seen from below. The design is by José Ignacio Ballester. How much room it needs below the ceiling The blades sweep a 151 cm circle, and the manufacturer specifies this model for rooms above 20 m². That figure belongs next to the floor area of your own room: in anything smaller the blades run close to walls and tall furniture. The whole assembly drops 44.5 cm below the ceiling and that depth is fixed — the manufacturer offers no extension downrod. The fan weighs 5.4 kg and mounts on a flat ceiling only: the maximum slope stated on the card is 0°, so it cannot hang from a pitched ceiling. How it moves air and how loud it is A 40 W DC motor drives the blades to 195 revolutions per minute and shifts up to 188 m³ of air per minute, with speed set in eight steps. On the lowest step the fan reaches 33 dB and on the highest 45 dB — the first of those sits at a level you can leave running overnight. The rotation reverses. In summer the airflow goes down and passes over people sitting below; in winter the fan pushes the warm air collected at the ceiling back into the room without a draught. The light it gives The built-in LED module draws 20 W and 1400 lm leave the fitting; the module itself is rated 2200 lm, but the first figure is the one comparable with other luminaires. In a room above 20 m² that is supplementary light — on its own it does not replace full main lighting for a large living room. Colour temperature is adjusted steplessly between 2700 and 5000 K, from warm, slightly yellow light to cool white, and the fitting is dimmable. Colour rendering is Ra 80 and the beam angle 120°. Control and connection An R00142 radio remote on the 2.4 GHz band is included, and the manufacturer also states Bluetooth and app control — so speeds and light are set without reaching for the wall switch. The fan runs on 220–240 V and is protection class I, which means an earth conductor has to be present at the ceiling outlet.
