Lillehammer DC2293CB is a box-shaped outdoor wall light in cast aluminium, powder-coated in copper brown (RAL 8004). It shines up and down at the same time, in two very narrow 4° beams. This is the low-voltage version, powered by 24 V direct current. Dimensions and wall mounting According to the manufacturer's drawing the body is 18.5 cm tall and 8 cm wide and projects 11 cm from the wall. It fixes with two screws through ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm — worth marking on the facade before drilling. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and the fitting can be looped through to further lights with conductors up to 2 × 1.5 mm². The gland is designed for round-sheathed cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter, so check that the cable on the facade falls within that range before installation. 24 V supply and control There is no power supply inside the housing. The light needs an external voltage-stabilised 24 V DC power supply, and with several fittings on one loop the supply is sized to their combined load — each draws 7.2 W. The fitting is protection class III, running on safety extra-low voltage, and is never connected directly to 230 V mains. In the same Lillehammer family the manufacturer offers the 2293 version for mains supply. The LED module is suitable for dimming. The fitting has no control gear of its own, so whether it dims depends on the power supply and control system it is installed with. What light it gives Two LED modules totalling 7.2 W give 2700 K, a warm, yellowish light, at CRI 80. The 4° optic concentrates the light into two narrow stripes above and below the fitting, which is why the luminaire flux is only 31 lm. This is accent light to pick out a wall, facade or architectural detail, not lighting for an entrance or a path. Build The covers are optical safety glass, sealed with a silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland. IP65 allows mounting outdoors without a canopy, and IK08 means the housing withstands a 5 J impact. The plain, geometric form without ornament is modern in style, following the series' Scandinavian lineage, and is intended for lighting facades and the space around a house.Mostrar mais
