Norlys Genoa 170BG Outdoor Wall Light E27 Black with Green Patina, Half Lantern, IP54, 41 cm

Name: Norlys Genoa 170BG Outdoor Wall Light E27 Black with Green Patina, Half Lantern, IP54, 41 cm
Brand: NORLYS

Genoa 170BG is an outdoor wall light shaped as half of a classic lantern: a six-sided body with a canopy and decorative finial that sits flat against the wall. The cast aluminium body is black with a green patina reminiscent of weathered copper, and the panes are clear polycarbonate. Size and mounting The light is 41 cm high and 18 cm wide and projects 13 cm from the wall – figures to compare with the space beside a door, on a pergola post or by a terrace. It weighs 1.75 kg and is fixed through two ø5.5 mm holes 80 mm apart. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and the EPDM gland seals a round-sheathed cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter; a flat cable will not seal properly in it. It is a protection class II luminaire, so no earth connection is needed. Bulb and light The E27 lampholder takes an A55–A60 shaped bulb, and the manufacturer allows an LED source of up to 9 W. The bulb is not included and is replaced by the user. A larger globe or an elongated bulb will not fit inside the body. The panes are clear, so the bulb stays visible and its shape becomes part of the lantern's look. Norlys also offers this light with a Philips Master LEDbulb 806 lm / 8.5 W / 2700 K LED lamp. That is a useful reference when choosing your own bulb: around 800 lm is as much light as an old 60 W bulb gave, and 2700 K is a warm, slightly yellowish white. Build The body is powder-coated cast aluminium, which does not rust the way steel does. The polycarbonate diffuser is UV-stabilised, which protects it against yellowing in the sun. IP54 means protection against dust and against water splashed from any direction, so the light can hang on a facade without a canopy. Norlys designed it for lighting terraces, entrances and pergolas.Mostrar mais
