Pendant Lamp Erich MOD221-PL-01-N white glass globe 15 cm nickel Maytoni

Name: Pendant Lamp Erich MOD221-PL-01-N white glass globe 15 cm nickel Maytoni
Brand: Maytoni

The Erich MOD221-PL-01-N is a single-light pendant: a 15 cm globe of white glass held in a nickel-coloured socket housing and short stem, hung on a clear cable. The glass is opal across its whole surface, so it glows evenly and the bulb does not show through. How low it will hang The drop is set by shortening the cable and runs from 33 to 153 cm, measured from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. Over a table the cable is usually taken in so the shade sits 70–80 cm above the top; the full 153 cm is the setting for a high ceiling or a stairwell. The fitting weighs 540 g and the shade is only 15 cm across, so one piece will not fill the space above a wide table. This is a pendant for hanging over a point — a kitchen worktop, an armchair, either side of a bed — or for repeating in a row. Which bulb to buy The socket is E14 and takes one lamp of up to 40 W. No bulb is supplied, so you choose the colour and the brightness yourself: around 400 lm gives mood light, around 800 lm matches the old 60 W bulb. The manufacturer states the luminaire is not dimmable, so changing the level from a wall dimmer is not an option here. Build and wiring The metal parts — the ceiling rose, the stem and the ring that grips the glass — are finished in a nickel tone. The shade is blown glass, and the same motif runs through the Erich series in floor, table and multi-light fittings, so several pieces from the family can be put together in one room. The luminaire is protection class I, which means it needs an earth conductor in the ceiling box. In a building whose lighting circuit has no earth, that is the thing to check before buying.Mostrar mais
