GFA890N Recessed Light Fixture, White, Gea Luce

Name: GFA890N Recessed Light Fixture, White, Gea Luce
Brand: Gea Luce

Gea Luce GFA890N is a small recessed spotlight with a square matt-white trim and a movable round light module. Both its body and heat sink are aluminium. The integrated CREE LED module and a separate transformer are included, so there is no conventional screw-in or push-fit bulb to choose for this fitting.Check the cutout, not just the trimThe visible front measures 40 × 40 mm. The manufacturer's drawing specifies a height of 50 mm and a circular mounting cutout of 35 mm diameter. These are different measurements: the outside edge of the square trim does not define the hole to be made. Compare the drawing with the available installation space before preparing the ceiling.Space is also needed for the transformer, which is supplied separately rather than built into the luminaire body. The plain white surround and simple geometry suit modern and minimalist interiors without introducing a suspended shade into the room.A directed beam, not a broad washThis GFA890N version produces neutral-white light at 4000 K. The manufacturer states 3 W power, 180 lm luminous flux and a 38° beam angle. Its movable module lets the beam be aimed at a selected area. In a living room, entrance hall, corridor or shop, it can provide a local accent rather than the wide distribution associated with a large ceiling light.Choose the number of fittings according to the required illumination and layout; the small trim size alone does not determine whether the room will be adequately lit. This version is not dimmable. It operates by switching on and off, a limitation to account for when specifying circuit controls.Installation and careThe fitting is intended for recessed indoor installation, with a 220–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz supply. Installation and assembly must be carried out by qualified personnel, with mains power disconnected before work. The instructions permit a damp cloth and mild detergent for cleaning, followed by gentle drying with a soft cloth. Water and detergent must not reach cables or electrical components. Keep the instructions for future maintenance.Pokaż więcej
