Norlys Modena Big 3012BD post-top lantern head, black with gold patina, E27

Name: Norlys Modena Big 3012BD post-top lantern head, black with gold patina, E27
Brand: NORLYS

The Modena Big 3012BD is a post-top lantern head in a classic form: a hexagonal lantern with clear panes, a roof topped by a finial and a decorative crossbar beneath the body. The body is cast aluminium finished in black with a gold patina, and the panes are clear UV-stabilised polycarbonate. The box holds the lantern head only – the pole is ordered separately. What it mounts on The head is designed to sit on a lighting pole. Norlys also sells it as the Modena 301 set with the telescopic Lamppost 3010 pole; according to the manufacturer the complete lantern then stands 1.93 to 2.83 m tall, with the height adjusted on the pole rather than on the head. The head ships in a 55 × 43 × 28.5 cm carton. The terminals take conductors up to 4 × 2.5 mm² and let the supply continue to the next fitting (loop-through up to 4 × 2.5 mm²), so several lanterns along a path can run on a single cable. The gland accepts a cable 7–12.5 mm in diameter, a figure to check against the cable already laid in the ground. The fitting is protection class II, so it needs no earth conductor, and IP54 protects it against water splashed from any direction, rain included. What light it gives Inside is an E27 socket for an A55–A60 bulb, the ordinary pear-shaped lamp 55–60 mm across, LED up to 9 W. No bulb is included; Norlys gives a dimmable 806 lm / 8.5 W / 2700 K LED bulb as an example, which matches the brightness of an old 60 W bulb and gives warm, yellowish light. The panes are clear, so the bulb stays visible and the light spreads sideways around the pole. The bulb is replaced by the user. If the diffuser is damaged, Norlys stocks it as a spare part (service kit 06380004), so the whole head does not have to be replaced. Where it fits A gold patina over a black base and a hexagonal lantern with a pointed roof give the look of traditional park lanterns. The head suits a garden by a classically styled house: next to a terrace, along a path or at the driveway entrance.Pokaż więcej
