Deryn 3-light chandelier 3xE27 Distressed Antique Grey Elstead

Name: Deryn 3-light chandelier 3xE27 Distressed Antique Grey Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Deryn is a three-light chandelier by Kichler, distributed by Elstead. Its steel frame, shaped as an inverted diamond, carries a Distressed Antique Grey finish, an aged, rubbed-back grey, and three lampholders hold cylindrical shades of clear seeded glass. The ceiling canopy, chain and lampholder cups are in a lighter satin metal.Size and hanging heightThe chandelier is 55.8 cm across and the body itself is 47 cm high. It hangs from 182.8 cm of chain, which sets the overall height anywhere from 41.6 to 247.1 cm. Over a table the drop is usually shortened so that the bottom of the shades sits 70–80 cm above the tabletop; compare the 55.8 cm diameter with the width of your own table. The manufacturer's drawing also shows an optional flush installation without the chain, directly under the ceiling, which helps in a low room. The fitting weighs 3.25 kg. It is protection class I, which means it must be connected to a protective earth conductor, and it is intended for indoor use only.Which bulbs to chooseThe chandelier takes three E27 bulbs of up to 60 W each; bulbs are not included. The shades are clear, so the bulb stays on show and its shape becomes part of the look, while the bubbles in the glass soften its glare slightly. Elstead recommends a clear LED E27 lamp for this fitting. It is compatible with dimmable lamps, so on a dimmer you only need bulbs marked as dimmable.Style and where it belongsThe manufacturer describes Deryn as minimalist, with crisp, clean lines, and pitches it at refined rustic and coastal interiors. It is intended for hanging over a dining table, in a hallway and in hotel interiors.Pokaż więcej
