Endon Lambeth 70323 Lantern Pendant – Satin Nickel, Clear Glass, E27, Ø 20 cm

Name: Endon Lambeth 70323 Lantern Pendant – Satin Nickel, Clear Glass, E27, Ø 20 cm
Brand: Endon

The Lambeth 70323 is a lantern-style pendant: a cylindrical frame of satin nickel-plated metal fitted with clear glass panels and topped by a dome of curved struts. It hangs on a chain with a clear cable running alongside. It has a single E27 lampholder and measures 20 cm across.Dimensions and hanging heightThe overall height — from the ceiling to the bottom of the lantern — adjusts between 50 and 190 cm by shortening the 1.2 m chain. The same fitting can therefore hang low over a table or high in a hallway. Over a dining table the bottom edge is usually set 70–80 cm above the top, and a 20 cm diameter suits a smaller table or a row of several pendants. The lamp weighs 2.2 kg, so it needs a secure fixing point in the ceiling. It is Class I, which means it must be connected to a supply with an earth conductor — a job for an electrician rather than a plug-in fitting.Which bulb and what kind of lightEndon specifies an E27 LED bulb of up to 10 W for this fitting. The bulb is not included. A typical LED bulb as bright as an old 60 W bulb draws less than 10 W, so the limit does not force you into a weak light source. The glass panels are clear, so the bulb is fully visible and becomes part of the look. Endon pairs this fitting with LED filament bulbs in the classic GLS shape and as a 95 mm globe — inside a 20 cm lantern a 95 mm globe has plenty of room. Clear glass does not diffuse the light, so colour and brightness come entirely from the bulb; for living rooms and bedrooms a warm 2700 K is the usual choice. The fitting is dimmable, but that takes two things: a dimmer switch in the circuit and a bulb marked as dimmable. An ordinary LED bulb on a dimmer will flicker or not work at all.Where it fitsThe lamp is intended for the living room, bedroom and dining room. Endon's Lambeth range also includes a four-light version and other finishes, which makes it easy to combine several fittings from the same family.Meer tonen
