The Elstead Holborn HL7-S-VDG is a small outdoor wall lantern with a single E14 lampholder. The half-lantern body is solid brass in a verdigris finish, and bevelled clear glass panels close the visible sides. A slatted cornice sits above the glass; the lamp is not supplied. Size and where it sits The fitting is 31 cm high, 13 cm wide and projects 11 cm from the wall. That scale sits beside an entrance door, on a house façade or on a terrace wall without occupying much of the walkway. The flat back of the half lantern meets the wall. Elstead lists optional corner brackets C-BKT2-BROWN and C-BKT2-BLACK; they are not in the box and are only needed if the lantern is to sit in a corner. IP44 and protection class I mean outdoor use on an earthed 220–240 V, 50 Hz circuit. The lantern is not for permanently flooded locations and is not a free-standing lamp. Lamp and supply One E14 socket accepts a source of at most 40 W. Choose an LED or other E14 lamp for the colour and output you need, and stay within the wattage limit. There is no integrated LED and no built-in dimmer; dimming depends on the lamp you fit and on the installation. Brass, verdigris and form Solid brass with a verdigris finish shows a green patina and worn metal at the edges. Bevelled glass surrounds the source on the open sides. The slatted cornice and brass details follow a classical English half-lantern, not a stripped-back contemporary wall light. Net weight is 2 kg and packed weight 2.54 kg.
