The Halmstad 295GA is a low bollard light, 49 cm tall with a 12 × 12 cm section, made of hot-dip galvanised steel. The top holds an opal PMMA diffuser surrounded by horizontal louvres and capped by a flat roof, so the light leaves sideways and is partly shielded from above. Which bulb and what kind of light The bollard has an E27 socket and takes only an LED lamp of up to 9 W in an A55–A60 envelope. No lamp is included and the user replaces it, so colour and brightness come from the lamp you choose — for comparison, an LED of about 800 lm is as bright as an old 60 W bulb. The opal diffuser spreads the light, so the lamp itself is not visible from outside. The manufacturer states a ULOR of 48% and the BUG rating B0-U3-G1: nearly half the flux leaves above the level of the luminaire. The bollard therefore marks the line of a path and brightens its surroundings rather than putting all the light on the ground at its base. Finish and durability Hot-dip galvanising is a metallic coating, not paint — which is why the colour table gives no RAL number for it. The steel has a matt silver-grey tone with an irregular, spangled pattern that differs from piece to piece. The diffuser is sealed with a silicone gasket, and Norlys offers the diffuser (06295000) and the gasket (08295000) as spare parts. IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction, and IK10 is the highest impact-resistance class — relevant for a bollard standing at the height of a mower or a car bumper on a driveway. It is protection class II, so no earth conductor is needed. Installation and what to buy separately The bollard bolts down through three ø9 mm holes set at 120° on a ø65 mm circle. No foundation parts are included: the choice is the concrete-set anchor 205, the ground anchor 206, the concrete-foundation adapter 206S and the mounting adapters 3080GA and 3086GA. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 4 mm², or up to 3 × 1.5 mm² when looping through to further bollards; the gland accepts a round cable up to ø12.5 mm. The bollard weighs 7.79 kg and is connected by a qualified electrician.
