Bazar Bizar Cascais S sauce bowl, white stoneware 7.5 cm

Name: Bazar Bizar Cascais S sauce bowl, white stoneware 7.5 cm
Brand: BAZAR BIZAR

Bazar Bizar Cascais S is a small stoneware sauce bowl handmade in Portugal. Its milky white interior is bordered by a brown-amber rim. The rounded body has no handles or pouring spout: it is a serving bowl for sauces and small accompaniments rather than a pouring jug.A small portion beside the plateThe bowl measures 7.5 cm long, 7.5 cm wide and 4 cm high. These dimensions suit an accompaniment to a meal, not a full bowl of soup or salad. Use it to serve honey, tahini or dipping sauce separately from the other ingredients on a plate. When planning a place setting, compare its footprint with the space beside the tableware you already use.Stoneware with a contrasting edgeThe brown detail is concentrated around the lip, framing the light-coloured centre. Visible changes in the glaze and a simple curved silhouette give the piece a rustic character. It is not a uniformly white bowl with a regularly printed pattern. The manufacturer notes that handmade pieces vary in colour and texture. If you are choosing several bowls, expect a related appearance rather than exactly matching glaze markings.Care and the Cascais collectionWash the bowl gently before its first use. The manufacturer recommends hand washing to protect the glaze and gradual heating to avoid thermal shock. Its small format is intended for serving accompaniments in the kitchen and dining area. Other pieces from the Cascais collection repeat the combination of light ceramic and a brown edge when you want to coordinate your tableware.Show more
