ROCA Luces Exclusivas wall lamp LE44231
ROCA LE44231 is a 30 cm wide LED wall light. The light comes from a flat panel in a gold frame, and in front of the panel a pane of smoked glass stands at an angle, held by two round pins. The manufacturer gives the finish as black with gold; the fitting is made of metal and glass. Size and space on the wall The wall light is 30 cm wide and 8.5 cm high, and it projects 11 cm from the wall. Compare those 11 cm with the width of the walkway where it will hang, for example in a narrow hallway or beside a bed, where the light sits at shoulder height. On the manufacturer's drawing the part screwed to the wall is 4.5 cm high, so it is lower than the glass pane and in the photos stays hidden behind it. The fitting runs on 230 V mains voltage. How much light, and what kind The source is an integrated 7 W LED module giving 721 lm, roughly what an old 60 W bulb produced. 3000 K is warm white, calm in the evening. The module is part of the fitting: there are no bulbs to buy, but the source cannot be replaced by the user. The light can be dimmed with a TRIAC dimmer, that is a phase-cut dimmer fitted in place of an ordinary switch. 0–10 V and DALI are different standards, so if the home already has a lighting control system, check which dimmers the installation uses. Which rooms it suits At 721 lm the wall light gives supplementary rather than main light. It works as wall lighting in a living room, as a bedside light in a bedroom or as a light point in a hallway. The rectangular body, plain glass without ornament and the gold panel make it a modern design. The manufacturer also offers pendant lights in the ROCA series.Show more
