Jupiter 82 PLAFON ceiling light – patinated brass finish, 36 cm, 2×E27

Name: Jupiter 82 PLAFON ceiling light – patinated brass finish, 36 cm, 2×E27
Brand: JUPITER

Jupiter 82 from the PLAFON family is a round ceiling light with a white, domed glass shade. Its broad rim and small central finial have a patinated brass finish, giving the enclosed form a traditional outline. The construction is steel and glass: brass describes the finish, not a claim that the entire fitting is solid brass.Allow for a 36 cm width and 19 cm dropThe fitting measures 36 cm across and extends 19 cm below the ceiling. Compare both dimensions with the intended position, particularly where tall doors or cupboard fronts open nearby. There is no long hanging cable, but this is not a flat panel sitting almost level with the ceiling. This ceiling-mounted form suits general lighting in an entrance hall, corridor, bedroom, living room, dining room or study. Shade size alone does not establish how bright the room will be. Consider the chosen bulbs together with the room dimensions rather than treating the fitting's width as an indication of light output. It is not an adjustable spotlight for directing a narrow beam. Two replaceable E27 bulbs, supplied separatelyThere are two E27 lamp holders inside. The manufacturer specifies 2 × 15 W and a 230 V supply. Bulbs are not included, so two compatible light sources must be purchased before use, keeping within the stated power limit.Replaceable bulbs let you select light colour and lumen output when choosing the sources. The fitting itself therefore has no fixed colour temperature or brightness rating. Its white glass shade covers the bulbs from below, so their decorative shape is not the main visual feature.Traditional detailing rather than exposed bulbsDarker areas on the rounded rim and the stepped centre detail reinforce a classic, retro appearance. Choose this version when an enclosed glass shade is preferred to visible lamps. The manufacturer specifies indoor use and a five-year warranty.Show more
