Nordlux Oja Square 29 ceiling light, white, IP20

Name: Nordlux Oja Square 29 ceiling light, white, IP20
Brand: Nordlux

Nordlux Oja Square 29 is a white square ceiling light made from plastic, with a height of just 2.3 cm. Its flat illuminated face and narrow frame sit without a hanging shade. This version uses three-step Moodmaker™ control, letting a regular wall switch change the lighting mode.Three settings, rather than a separate dimmerYou can select full brightness at 4000 K, full brightness with a warmer 3000 K light, or a 3000 K night mode at 20% brightness. Further switching changes the setting without replacing the light source. This is not continuous dimming through an external dimmer: the fitting offers three defined modes.Oja also includes memory and reset functions. These allow a preferred setting to be saved and the initial setting to be restored when needed. The night mode includes a backlight effect against the ceiling, illustrated in the manufacturer's photographs.A 29.4 cm square with integrated LEDThe actual width and length are both 29.4 cm. Compare that footprint with the available ceiling space before installation, especially near cupboards or built-in furniture. Its shallow construction is useful where you do not want a pendant and wish to keep the space below the ceiling clear. The LED module is included and non-replaceable, so there is no separate screw-in or push-fit bulb to buy. Nordlux specifies 14.5 W and a light output of 1600 lm. When planning a larger room, consider its layout and the other fittings rather than assuming a fixed area that one light will cover.Fitting and placementOja uses a twist-lock attachment and connects to a 220–240 V supply. The installation instructions state that mounting screws are not included. As an indoor ceiling fitting, it can provide general lighting in a hallway, corridor, kitchen or bedroom. The unornamented white square suits Scandinavian, modern and minimalist interiors. Its installation position must rule out contact with water; a styled room photograph does not override that restriction.Show more
