Nordlux Noxy 2015356101 white LED ceiling light 35 cm, Moodmaker

Name: Nordlux Noxy 2015356101 white LED ceiling light 35 cm, Moodmaker
Brand: Nordlux

Nordlux Noxy 2015356101 is a white, round LED ceiling light with a broad luminous face and a narrow rim. Its construction uses plastic and aluminium. Two interchangeable rings, one black and one chrome, are supplied to change the edge detail without choosing a different version of the fitting.Three scenes selected at the wallMoodmaker™ operates through an ordinary wall switch. The first scene provides 1650 lm at 4000 K; the second keeps the same output with a warmer 3000 K colour temperature. The third reduces output to 100 lm at 3000 K, illuminating the ceiling as a night light. These are three fixed settings rather than continuously adjustable brightness or colour temperature. The instructions show scene changes by switching off and back on in less than five seconds. Leaving the light off for at least six seconds recalls the previous mode when it is next switched on. This matters in a bedroom or hallway where you want to keep a chosen setting rather than restart from the first scene. The intended control is the wall switch, not a switch on the fitting.A shallow fitting with a broad beamThe 35 cm diameter and 5 cm height keep the body close to the ceiling. Its 120° beam angle suits general lighting rather than a narrow spotlight on one object. Consider it for a living room, kitchen, dining room, dressing room or child's bedroom; a desk should still have separately planned task lighting. The plain circular form and restrained trim suit modern and minimalist interiors.IP44 provides protection against splashing water. In a bathroom, installation must comply with the requirements of the relevant electrical zone; the rating does not permit unrestricted positioning beside a shower. The manufacturer specifies indoor use only.Source inclusion and installation planningThe integrated 17 W LED source is non-replaceable, so no separate bulb is needed. Noxy requires a fixed connection to the 230 V mains. Mounting screws are not supplied. At the end of the light source's life, the instructions require replacement of the whole fitting rather than just the LED module.Show more
