MIB 6 pendant lamp White Nordlux

Name: MIB 6 pendant lamp White Nordlux
Brand: Nordlux

The white Nordlux MIB 6 is a single pendant with a movable, tubular lamp head rather than a broad hanging shade. Its metal body has a RAL 9016 finish, paired with a white textile-covered cable. Designed by Bønnelycke MDD, it forms part of the Design For The People collection.A pendant that lets you aim the lightThe head tilts through up to 90° and turns through up to 320°. This lets you direct the light towards a chosen area instead of accepting only the downward direction of a fixed pendant. The narrow cylinder is intended for directional lighting, not the broad diffusion associated with a large open shade.Consider it above a dining table or kitchen island, or as an additional light in a living room or bedroom. Several separately purchased pendants can distribute lighting points along a longer surface. The product is one fitting, not the multi-lamp arrangement shown in some photographs. Choose the number of fittings with the surface size and your selected bulbs in mind.Choose the GU10 bulb separatelyThere is one GU10 socket, with a maximum LED bulb rating of 8 W. No bulb is included. Brightness, colour temperature and beam angle therefore come from the bulb you choose, rather than being fixed properties of this pendant. Dimming requires a dimmable bulb and compatible controls; a GU10 connection alone does not establish that a bulb will dim.Check the head and ceiling connectionThe cylindrical shade is 20 cm high and 6 cm in diameter. The manufacturer's drawing gives 27 cm for the head assembly including its upper stem. A 10.5 cm canopy connects it to the ceiling, and the supplied cable is 300 cm long. Compare these dimensions with the ceiling height and planned position rather than treating cable length as an in-use height-adjustment mechanism. The fitting requires a fixed mains connection and is not suitable for hook suspension. Mounting screws are not included. Its unadorned tubular geometry supports minimalist, modern and Scandinavian interiors without introducing decorative arms or glass shades. For dusting, the manufacturer's instructions specify a soft, dry cloth and no detergents.Show more
