Mantra NISEKO II 8639 black LED ceiling light, 90 cm, with remote control

Name: Mantra NISEKO II 8639 black LED ceiling light, 90 cm, with remote control
Brand: Mantra

Mantra NISEKO II 8639 is a round LED ceiling light measuring 90 cm across. A black outer band surrounds a broad acrylic surface, with a luminous ring and an uncluttered centre visible from below. This is the close-to-ceiling version, rather than the pendant fitting offered within the same collection.A wide fitting without a long dropThe overall height is 9.5 cm and is not adjustable. Its shallow profile leaves space beneath the fitting, but the 90 cm diameter still needs a substantial area of ceiling. Before choosing it, compare that measurement with the available ceiling space, neighbouring lights and furniture layout. A photograph alone can make this larger version appear smaller than it is.It can provide general lighting in a living room, dining room, bedroom or study. Above a dining table it stays near the ceiling, so it is not a substitute for a low-hanging pendant intended to define the tabletop as a separate zone. The plain black band and circular geometry work with modern and minimalist interiors.Adjust brightness and white-light colourThe included R00135 radio remote controls dimming and colour temperature across a 2700–5000 K range. You can choose a warmer or cooler white without replacing the light source. Brightness and colour temperature serve different purposes: one changes the amount of light, while the other changes its colour appearance. The integrated LED lighting is rated at 75 W. Mantra specifies 5000 lm for the complete luminaire and 9000 lm for the LED source. These figures must not be added together. Use the luminaire output when comparing fittings for a room; ceiling height and interior surfaces also influence the lighting experienced in the space.Materials and mounting preparationThe manufacturer lists aluminium, iron and acrylic, with the black finish identified as RAL 9011. A net weight of 8.4 kg needs to be considered when selecting the mounting surface and fixings. The instructions show a cross-shaped bracket and electrical connection, but do not confirm a special suitability for stretch ceilings. The LED source is included, and its replacement is work for a qualified person.Show more
