GAP593 Silver Wall Sconce by Gea Luce

Name: GAP593 Silver Wall Sconce by Gea Luce
Brand: Gea Luce

Gea Luce GAP593 is an LED wall light with an adjustable cylindrical head on a square backplate. Its aluminium body has a matt nickel finish with a silver appearance. A small switch sits on the front of the plate, while a transparent methacrylate diffuser covers the light opening.A focused beam for a reading positionThe integrated 3 W LED module is included, so there is no separate bulb to choose. Warm white light at 3000 K and an output of 180 lm provide local illumination. The 30° beam concentrates light on a selected area rather than lighting the entire room evenly. This makes the fitting a supplementary reading light beside a bed, a living-room chair or a reading position in a study, including a hotel bedroom. The head rotates through 350° and tilts from 0 to 90°, allowing the beam direction to follow the position of a book. Check the distance to the page and the relationship between the fitting and your line of sight before installation; adjustability alone does not guarantee suitable lighting from any mounting position. CRI >90 indicates high colour rendering, not the brightness or coverage of the beam.Allowing space for the head and switchThe backplate measures 104 × 104 mm and is 30 mm deep. The cylindrical head is 108 mm long and 32 mm in diameter. These are component dimensions, not a fixed overall projection, which changes with the head position. Compare the plate with the available wall space and check that the front switch will remain within reach. The GAP593 operates by switching on and off and is not dimmable; changing the direction is not a substitute for brightness control.A restrained nickel wall fittingThe plain plate and slim tube suit modern, minimalist interiors. Gea Luce specifies indoor wall mounting and a 220–240 V supply. Installation must be carried out by a qualified person with the mains isolated. For cleaning, the instructions call for a damp soft cloth with mild detergent followed by gentle drying. Keep water and cleaning agents away from cables and electrical components.Show more
