Florence 805BD bollard light, black with gold patina, E27, 112 cm NORLYS

Name: Florence 805BD bollard light, black with gold patina, E27, 112 cm NORLYS
Brand: NORLYS

Florence 805BD is a garden bollard light shaped like a classic lantern: a slim post on a square base curves over at the top into an arm carrying a conical shade with a clear diffuser underneath. The cast-aluminium body is powder-coated black and finished with a gold patina.Dimensions and installationThe post stands 112 cm tall. Because the head hangs out on the arm, the fitting takes 45 cm in depth and 27 cm in width — the space to allow at the edge of a path so the shade does not reach over the walkway. It weighs 2.65 kg and is bolted down through two ø5.5 mm holes 90 mm apart; the concrete-in anchor 307ZX0009 is bought separately. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², or 2 × 1.5 mm² when looped through, and the gland a round-sheathed cable of 7–10.5 mm. Protection class II means no earth conductor is needed. IP54 protects the fitting against splashing water from any direction.Light sourceThe fitting has an E27 socket for an A55–A60 shaped bulb, which is not included. The manufacturer allows LED up to 9 W; an 806 lm lamp, for example, gives about as much light as an old 60 W bulb, and 2700 K reads as warm and slightly yellow. Whether the light can be dimmed depends on the bulb and dimmer chosen. The shade covers the lamp from above only partly: ULOR is 18% and the BUG rating B0-U3-G1, so some light also goes to the sky. The clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate diffuser shows the bulb, so a decorative or frosted model is worth choosing. The diffuser is available as a spare part (service kit 06370797).Where it fitsThe form is classic — the arch, conical shade and moulded base recall traditional street lanterns, and the gold patina underlines that character. The manufacturer intends it for gardens, private grounds and public areas: by a terrace, along garden paths and roads.Show more
