Bismarck 1 Light Mini Pendant - Earth Black Elstead

Name: Bismarck 1 Light Mini Pendant - Earth Black Elstead
Brand: Elstead Lighting

Bismarck is a mini pendant by Quoizel, distributed in Europe by Elstead Lighting. It is a flat, hexagonal steel frame in an Earth Black finish — an earthy, matt black — with a single gold-painted lampholder hanging at its centre. There is no shade, so the bulb stays exposed and becomes part of the look. Size and hanging height The frame is 25.4 cm wide, 24 cm tall and only 6 cm deep, so from the side it reads as a thin outline and from the front as a geometric frame around the bulb. At that size it works on its own over a small table, or as a row of several over a longer worktop or kitchen island. The pendant hangs from a rigid rod. Two 15.2 cm rods and two 30.5 cm rods are supplied, and combining them sets the overall drop anywhere from 35 to 126.4 cm — over a dining table usually so that the bottom of the frame sits 70–80 cm above the top. The round ceiling canopy is 13 cm in diameter. The fitting weighs 1.93 kg. Light source It takes one E27 lamp of up to 60 W. The lamp is not included. Because it stays fully visible, a decorative bulb with a visible filament is the natural choice, and its colour temperature and brightness are up to you. The pendant can be dimmed if you use a dimmer and a lamp marked as dimmable. The fitting is Class I, so it must be connected to the protective earth conductor, and it is intended for indoor use. Style The manufacturer stresses the modern character of the range: the bold geometric lines of the black frame contrast with the gold lampholder in both tone and style. The pendant suits a dining room and hangs well over a table or kitchen island.Show more
