Stockholm 289BL is a 49 cm bollard light with a cylindrical body of hot-dip galvanised steel finished in black (RAL 9005). The head is an opal PMMA diffuser shielded by horizontal steel rings and sealed with a silicone gasket. Size and installation The bollard is 49 cm tall and 17 cm in diameter, and weighs 6.45 kg. It bolts to the ground with three screws through ø9 mm holes spaced at 120° on a 56 mm circle. Ground fixings are not included: Norlys sells a concrete-in anchor (205ZX0010), a concrete-foundation adapter (206GA0S10) and a mounting adapter (3080GA0009) separately, so add the one that suits your base to the order. The terminals take conductors up to 3×2.5 mm² and let the supply loop through to the next fitting at the same cross-section, so several bollards along a path can run from a single cable. The gland accepts a round-sheathed cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter. The luminaire is protection class II and needs no earth conductor. Bulb and light distribution The bollard has an E27 socket for an LED bulb of up to 9 W in an A55–A60 envelope. No bulb is supplied, so you choose the colour temperature and brightness yourself; a wider decorative globe will not fit under the diffuser. The bulb is replaced by the user, without a service visit. The light is uncovered and spreads evenly all around the bollard. Norlys states a ULOR of 49.72%, meaning roughly half of the output goes above the level of the head – the opal diffuser glows like a small lantern and marks the line of a path rather than lighting only the ground beneath it. Where it fits IP65 means the housing is dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK10 is the highest impact rating on the scale, 20 J. The manufacturer designed it for private grounds and public areas: it suits driveways and access roads, terraces and the entrances of hotels and restaurants. A plain black tube with a ringed head is a simple form in the Scandinavian manner. The diffuser and gasket are available as spare parts (06281004 and 08288002).
