Nordlux Ask 36 Sensor white LED ceiling light with motion sensor

Name: Nordlux Ask 36 Sensor white LED ceiling light with motion sensor
Brand: Nordlux

Nordlux Ask 36 Sensor is a white LED ceiling light with a microwave motion sensor. Its gently curved, circular matt diffuser covers the light source, with a narrow base sitting against the ceiling. The construction combines metal and plastic. An integrated light source, not a separate bulbThe LED module is part of the fitting and is not a replaceable bulb. There is no lamp holder to match when buying an additional light source, but the colour temperature cannot later be changed simply by swapping a bulb. Ask provides warm white light at 3000 K with an output of 1450 lm. The matt diffuser spreads the light, while the 120° beam angle distinguishes this ceiling fitting from a narrow directional spotlight. This version draws 17.6 W and cannot be dimmed. Adjusting its sensor changes how the light switches, not the brightness of the LEDs. Nordlux specifies a light-source lifetime of 30,000 hours; that operating figure is not the product's warranty period.Set the sensor for the surrounding spaceThe microwave sensor switches the light on when movement is detected and off after the selected hold time. The detection area, hold time and daylight threshold can be adjusted. Activation can therefore depend on the amount of ambient light as well as movement, rather than switching on for every passage through an already bright room. The product card specifies a sensor range of 4–6 m. The instructions warn that microwave signals can pass through glass and thin walls. When choosing the position and settings, consider movement in adjacent spaces as well as directly beneath the fitting. This matters particularly around partitions and glazed sections of a hallway.Check ceiling space and the electrical connectionThe 36 cm diameter and 10.5 cm height help you assess the space around an existing electrical outlet. Ask mounts directly on the ceiling without a pendant; it is not suitable for hook suspension. Connection to the 230 V installation requires an earth conductor in accordance with Class I protection. This is an indoor fitting. Its IP44 rating and confirmed suitability for humid areas support bathroom use, while automatic switching also suits hallways and corridors. The plain round form works with modern and minimalist furnishings without introducing an elaborate decorative feature.Mostra di più
