Milo Table Lamp - White / Polished Nickel / Yellow Shade - Elstead
Milo is a 69 cm table lamp with a base of glossy white ceramic shaped into a slender teardrop with a narrowed neck. The foot and the collar under the shade are polished nickel. The drum shade is covered in fabric in the Piazze Summer Breeze pattern — yellow and grey chevrons on a white ground. How much room it takes The widest point of the lamp is the 36 cm shade — that is the figure to compare with the depth of the console, chest or bedside table it will stand on. With the lamp itself 69 cm tall, add the height of the surface to work out where the bottom edge of the shade will sit relative to someone seated beside it. The lamp weighs 5.1 kg and the weight is concentrated in the ceramic base, so it stands steadily even on a narrow top. It runs from a wall socket on a corded plug, and the switch sits on the cord, so you do not have to reach under the shade to turn it on. Which bulb it needs The fitting takes one E27 bulb of up to 60 W. No bulb is included and there is no integrated LED module, so you choose the colour and brightness yourself: for a bedroom or living room most people pick 2700–3000 K, a warm light with a slightly yellow cast. The lamp has no dimmer of its own. The manufacturer states that it works with dimmable smart lamps — it is the bulb, not the fitting, that handles the adjustment. Build and what to watch for The base is ceramic set on a steel element, and the shade is sewn from fabric backed with a laminate lining, so the light leaves mainly through the top and bottom of the shade and comes through the wall of it muted. The manufacturer covers the lamp with a two-year guarantee. Milo is intended for indoor use only and is protection class I, so the socket has to have an earth pin. The shade pattern is what separates this version from the other Milo lamps on the same white base, which come with shades in other colours.Mostra di più
