NORLYS London 4020WH White Pole-Mounted Lantern on Bracket Arm, E27

Name: NORLYS London 4020WH White Pole-Mounted Lantern on Bracket Arm, E27
Brand: NORLYS

The NORLYS London 4020WH is a classic lantern with four clear sides, set on a curved bracket arm. The body is cast aluminium powder-coated white (RAL 9003) and the panes are clear UV-stabilised polycarbonate, so the bulb stays on view as in a traditional street lantern. What is in the box and what it mounts onThe box holds the lantern with its arm only – no pole and no part to seat it on. Norlys specifies fixing to terminal art. 3040, and in its own London 482 (two lanterns) and London 483 (three lanterns) sets pairs it with that terminal and pole art. 3010; both parts are ordered separately. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm².The lantern is 20.5 cm wide, reaches 30 cm out from its fixing point and weighs 1.85 kg net. Check that reach against how far the pole will stand from a path or wall.Which light source to chooseInside is one E27 lampholder for an A55–A60 shaped LED lamp of up to 9 W. No bulb is supplied, so the colour and brightness of the light depend on the lamp you pick, and the user changes it. The A55–A60 shape is the size to check before buying – a wider decorative bulb is not provided for. Only 1% of the flux goes upwards (ULOR 1%), so the lantern lights the ground beneath it rather than the sky.Build and intended useIP54 protects against dust and splashing water, impact resistance is IK07, and protection class II means insulation that needs no earth conductor. An EPDM gland seals the cable entry. A damaged diffuser does not mean replacing the whole fitting – Norlys lists a diffuser service kit, number 0904800051.The pyramid roof topped with a finial and the curved arm give the lantern a classic, English look. It suits a garden by the house as well as the grounds around a hotel or restaurant.Mostra di più
