Name: Steinel 608811 Wand, Aufputz PIR-Bewegungsmelder Relais black IP54
Brand: Steinel

STEINEL IS 140-2 is a black infrared motion sensor that switches connected lighting when movement is detected. Its plastic housing and IP54 rating allow indoor and outdoor use. The detection angle is 140°, and the movable head can be directed towards the required approach area.Range depends on the direction of movementDetection extends up to 14 m when movement crosses the sensing field, but up to 3 m when someone approaches directly towards the sensor. Positioning relative to a path or driveway therefore matters more than the maximum distance alone. The PIR sensor responds to moving heat sources; it is not a presence detector intended to monitor someone sitting motionless. The head swivels through 180° horizontally and 90° vertically. Supplied masking shrouds allow selected parts of the detection field to be excluded, such as areas beyond your own access path. This helps define the monitored area without covering the entire space in front of the building.Lighting duration and daylight thresholdThe switch-on time adjusts from 5 seconds to 35 minutes, allowing operation to suit either a short passage or a longer stay near an entrance. The ambient brightness threshold adjusts from 2 to 1000 lx. A lower setting requires darker surroundings before the lighting switches on, while a higher setting allows operation in brighter conditions.Mounting and connected lamp loadsThe housing measures 9.9 cm long, 8.6 cm wide and 8.2 cm high. Wall mounting is specified at 1.8–3 m, ideally 2 m; a corner bracket is a separate accessory. The supply is 230–240 V and the device has Class II protection. The 1000 W figure is the switched resistive load, rather than the sensor's own consumption. Lower total limits apply to LED lamps: 100 W for lamps below 2 W, 125 W for lamps rated 2–8 W and 250 W for lamps above 8 W, with no more than 50 LED lamps. Select connected lighting by both lamp type and quantity.Mostra di più
