Name: Rendl SASSARI R13642 LED ceiling light, white, 28 cm, 24 W, 3000 K, IP65
Brand: Rendl light studio

Rendl SASSARI R13642 is a white ceiling light with an integrated LED module, expressly intended for bathroom use as well as other interiors. Its gently domed circular cover forms a closed shape without an exposed bulb or decorative arms. Rendl specifies polycarbonate and plastic construction.Checking the ceiling footprintThe 28 cm diameter tells you how much ceiling area the fitting occupies, while its 7 cm height shows how far it projects into the room. Compare both measurements with the planned position rather than relying only on the front view. This is a surface-mounted ceiling fitting, not a pendant with an adjustable cable or a recessed light requiring a ceiling cut-out.The rounded white surface has no contrasting ornamental details. Its restrained shape suits minimalist and contemporary interiors, while the simple dome can also accompany understated traditional furnishings without echoing their decorative features.Warm white light with the source includedThe built-in LEDs are rated at 24 W and 3000 K. This is warm white light rather than a neutral-white option. Rendl states a luminous flux of 1900 lm and a colour rendering index of Ra 80. When comparing fittings, consider the stated output and light colour alongside the wattage, rather than treating power alone as a measure of brightness. Both the light source and power supply are included. You do not need to choose a separate screw-base bulb for this version. The supply voltage is 230 V. The manufacturer lists a lifetime of 20,000 hours; that figure is not a warranty period.Bathroom placement and installationThe IP65 rating accompanies the manufacturer's explicit bathroom recommendation. Rendl also lists kitchen, bedroom, living room, hallway and children's room applications. A qualified installer should assess the exact bathroom position, since an IP rating does not replace electrical installation requirements. The manual requires installation by a qualified person with the relevant circuit switched off before work begins. It also calls for careful handling of the cover, which can be damaged during handling.Show more
