NORLYS Stockholm 299GA hot-dip galvanised bollard light 28 cm E27

Name: NORLYS Stockholm 299GA hot-dip galvanised bollard light 28 cm E27
Brand: NORLYS

Stockholm 299GA is a low garden bollard, 28 cm tall and 16.5 cm in diameter, made of hot-dip galvanised steel. Its opal PMMA diffuser is ringed by horizontal fins and vertical bars, and light comes out of it in all directions. The fitting has an E27 socket and is sold without a bulb. Where and how to install it At 28 cm high it sits close to the ground and lights what is right next to it: the edge of a path, a flower bed or a step. It suits gardens, terraces, driveways and streets, as well as the grounds of hotels and restaurants. The base is fixed through three ø9 mm holes set at 120° on a 56 mm circle. For setting it in the ground Norlys offers, separately, the 205ZX0010 concrete anchor, the 206GA0S10 concrete-foundation adapter and the 3080GA0009 mounting adapter. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and round-sheathed cable up to 12 mm in diameter. It is protection class II, so no earth conductor is needed. Which bulb and what light Norlys specifies an E27 bulb in the A55–A60 shape – a classic pear shape 55–60 mm across – so check that size before buying a lamp. An LED source of up to 9 W is permitted, and Norlys gives Philips Master LEDbulb and Osram LED Parathom Classic E27 as examples. The colour and brightness of the light therefore depend on the bulb you choose. The diffuser is open and spreads light evenly all round. Almost half of the output (ULOR 49.72%) goes above the horizontal, matching the BUG rating B0-U3-G1: the bollard lights its surroundings upwards too and can be seen from a distance, rather than aiming light only at the ground. Build and durability The hot-dip zinc coating protects the steel body against corrosion, and the whole fitting weighs 4.45 kg. IP54 means protection against dust and splashing water from any side, and IK10 impact resistance means it withstands an impact of 20 joules, the top grade of that scale. The diffuser (06281004) and the gasket (08288004) are available as spare parts.Show more
