Gea Luce GES843C White LED Floodlight, IP65

Name: Gea Luce GES843C White LED Floodlight, IP65
Brand: Gea Luce

The Gea Luce GES843C is a white LED floodlight with a rectangular front, a visible LED array and a mounting bracket. Its die-cast aluminium housing has a matt white finish, while the front cover is clear glass. This is an outdoor fitting with an integrated light source, rather than a floodlight that requires a separately selected bulb.Warm white light across a broad areaThe LED module is rated at 50 W, with a manufacturer-stated light output of 4250 lm. Its 3000 K colour temperature produces warm white light. When combining several fittings around one building, compare this figure with the colour temperatures of the other lights, not just their appearance or power rating. GES843C identifies this specific version; a similar housing does not establish matching light characteristics.A 100° beam angle gives a broad, directly aimed spread rather than a narrow spotlight effect. It can be considered for a section of facade, a driveway or an area beside a car park. Actual coverage also depends on the mounting position and direction. The lumen figure alone does not tell you how large an area will reach the required illumination level.Included components and switchingGea Luce confirms that the LED module and transformer are included, so there is no bulb base to match when choosing a light source. The GES843C uses on/off switching and is not dimmable. Check this limitation before specifying it for a lighting circuit intended to provide adjustable brightness. The supply rating is 220–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz, and the fitting is protection class I.Outdoor mounting and understated formThe bracket provides the fixing arrangement. An IP65 rating means protection against dust and water jets, not submersion. The plain rectangular frame and matt white finish suit modern, minimalist architecture. Allow for the broad beam when choosing its position, particularly in relation to windows and neighbouring spaces, so the light is directed towards the intended surface.Show more
