JUPITER EGIDA 1798 gold wall light with black shade, 1×E27

Name: JUPITER EGIDA 1798 gold wall light with black shade, 1×E27
Brand: JUPITER

JUPITER EGIDA 1798 is a single-arm wall light combining a gold-coloured frame with a black shade that tapers towards the top. Its curved arm, round wall plate and dark hanging ornament beneath the socket give the fitting a decorative outline. The manufacturer lists steel, fabric and PVC for this version.Allow for the projection from the wallThe fitting is 28 cm high and 20 cm wide, with a depth of 30 cm. When choosing its position, check the space in front of the wall as well as the available wall area. The arm projects the shade into the room, so beside a doorway or passage this measurement needs to be compared with the actual layout.Wall mounting leaves the tabletop and floor free. EGIDA can provide additional lighting in a living room, bedroom or dining room alongside the main light. The manufacturer specifies indoor use; this is not a garden light.Choose the bulb separatelyThere is one E27 socket for a replaceable light source. No bulb is supplied, so a compatible bulb needs to be included in your purchase separately. The current manufacturer's product card gives the rating as 1×E27/15 W. Follow that limit when selecting the source rather than the earlier 60 W wording in the product name. The bulb you choose determines the light colour and brightness. These properties do not follow from the gold finish of the frame. A replaceable source lets you select them to suit the other lighting in the room.A classical outline with black and gold detailsThe curved arm and tapered shade draw on traditional wall-light forms. The reflective gold-coloured parts and dark faceted ornament also support a glamour interior. The black shade belongs to this exact version and forms a deliberate contrast with the frame. JUPITER specifies a five-year warranty for model 1798.Show more
