TRANG floor lamp white 4000K

Name: TRANG floor lamp white 4000K
Brand: Thoro

Thoro TRANG is a white floor lamp with a narrow vertical light element rising from a circular base. Its steel and PVC construction has no broad shade, while the black cable provides a visible contrast to the white finish. This is variant TH.1006, supplied with an LED light source in a neutral white colour temperature of 4000 K.Allowing space beside furnitureThe lamp stands 150 cm high and its base measures 25 cm in diameter. Compare both dimensions with the intended position beside a sofa or armchair. A small base does not mean the entire assembly will fit into any narrow gap: there is also a separate cylindrical element on the floor, connected by the cable and shown in the manufacturer's photographs and drawing. The dimension drawing specifies a 300 cm cable. Placement therefore needs to account for the route to a socket as well as the base itself. Keep the cable and the additional element out of walking routes and clear of the space needed for doors to open.Choosing the neutral white versionThoro specifies 40 W and a luminous flux of 4710 lm. The 4000 K colour temperature distinguishes this lamp from the warmer 3000 K TRANG version; that choice changes the colour of the emitted light, not the finish of the body. The LED source is included, so there is no separate E27 or E14 bulb to select for this fitting. The upright light element is not a directional arm that can be positioned over a book. When selecting lighting for a particular activity, consider the lamp's location in relation to the seat rather than treating the stated luminous flux as a guarantee of a specific illumination level on a work surface.A restrained shape for seating areasThe circular base, slender upright and lack of decorative detailing support a modern, minimalist style. This white standing lamp can supplement lighting in a living room, beside a bedroom armchair, in a study or in a hotel's seating area. Its role is an additional light point beside furniture, rather than an overhead pendant above a table. The manufacturer provides a five-year warranty.Show more
