Quintiesse Maddox outdoor pendant light, black, E27, Ø61 cm

Name: Quintiesse Maddox outdoor pendant light, black, E27, Ø61 cm
Brand: Quintiesse

Quintiesse Maddox combines an open spherical frame with a separate etched opal glass globe at its centre. Weather-resistant nylon rope wraps the aluminium structure, with denser bands above and below an open section around the glass. This is the medium QN-MADDOX-P-M-BK-BK pendant with black rope throughout, rather than the black-and-camel version.Allow for both width and hanging heightThe 61 cm diameter gives Maddox a substantial presence: it is not a small fitting that sits close to the ceiling. The body itself measures 67.3 cm high, while the overall drop from the ceiling ranges from 75.6 to 151.6 cm. Compare that drop with your ceiling or canopy height and the clearance you need beneath the light before ordering. Two 30.5 cm rods and one 15.2 cm rod are supplied, allowing the drop to be selected during installation. Over a table, consider the tabletop width as well as the space above it. In a circulation area, allow enough clearance for people walking beneath the pendant. The body height and overall installed height are different measurements.Choose the E27 bulb separatelyMaddox has one E27 socket for a bulb rated up to 60 W. A bulb is not included, so its brightness and light colour depend on the source you select; there is no integrated LED module. The opal glass globe screens the bulb while remaining visible between the black lines of the surrounding frame.Dimming requires a dimmable bulb and compatible controls. The fitting runs on 220–240 V mains power and is Class I, requiring an earth connection. Account for that connection when preparing the electrical installation rather than treating the suspension alone as the complete mounting requirement.A woven form for indoor or outdoor settingsThe manufacturer lists interior, bathroom and exterior use, with an IP44 rating. Maddox can be considered above a terrace table, in a gazebo or in a dining room where the available height and installation conditions suit it. Bathroom placement must comply with the requirements of the relevant zone. Its woven texture supports a boho setting, while the black outline and geometric body also relate to contemporary furnishings.Show more
