Green Designers Habitat FR UV - C GD 175 Artificial Green Wall
Habitat FR UV - C by Green Designers, product code GD 175, is an artificial green wall with a layered planting design. Deep green foliage is interspersed with lighter grass-like tufts, pale accents and yellowish or brown tones. The combination of leaf shapes distinguishes this design from a uniform mat made from a single plant type.Order area and projection from the wall The offer unit represents an area of 0.5 m², not a fixed rectangular format. The manufacturer makes the panel to an agreed size and shape. Measure the width and height of the intended surface before ordering rather than treating the installation photographs as the dimensions of a ready-made set. The planting is 15–25 cm deep. Allow for this projection when planning adjacent furniture or a passage beside the wall. For larger installations, the manufacturer determines the number and arrangement of panels and numbers the sections so that their planned positions can be reproduced during installation.Artificial foliage for indoor and outdoor schemes Each panel is assembled by hand using textiles, plastics and rubber, with up to ten types of artificial plants in the composition. It is not a living wall that needs watering, fertilising or daylight for growth. Hand assembly also means that individual panels may differ in the finer details of their arrangement. The manufacturer confirms UV resistance and specifically identifies balconies and terraces as suitable locations. Its dense, irregular foliage gives a botanical scheme a varied surface rather than a flat block of colour. The visual depth should be considered alongside the area to be covered.Understanding the FR - C designation The official product information states that the foliage has flame-retardancy certification in category C. For a public-space project, check the manufacturer's documentation against the requirements of the particular building. The FR designation does not mean non-combustible and does not replace verification of the classification required for the installation.Show more
